These power distribution studies assist our clients with complying with OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements. • Assess and collect data on electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
• Use experience of NEC to determine conductor sizes and other design parameters of electrical systems
• Open up enclosures on electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears

We are currently looking for experienced electricians with a background working in industrial and commercial facilities. This position involves visiting our client sites around the country to collect electrical distribution information. We are searching for applicants with excellent people skills and an ambition to travel. A Master’s Electrician license is not required, but will be regarded highly. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
We are looking for an electrical engineer with a background in commercial and industrial facilities. Requirements include a minimum of three years of experience with overcurrent protection device coordination/analysis, electrical system modeling software, and power distribution design/maintenance, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. Superb verbal and communication skills are strongly preferred. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Herzig Engineer is always looking for Senior Electrical Engineers with 10+ years of experience in the industrial electrical field. Potential ownership opportunities and career advancement for a registered Professional Engineer are a possibility. We do require experience with power system modeling software such as SKM, Easy Power, or ETAP. Professionalism combined with excellent verbal and written skills is required for this position as well. Industrial Safety experience with OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584 and NEC is preferred. Pay commensurate with experience (minimum salary of $80,000).
